crowns
When a tooth is heavily broken down and is unable to be restored with a filling – a crown or onlay is required.
Depending on the amount of dentition needing to be restored, a crown will cover the entire tooth and help protect it from further breakage. An onlay is required when there is still some tooth surface that can be maintained. Therefore, only the worrisome area is ‘capped’ and protected.
“I can’t even tell which tooth has a crown. It looks so natural. Really happy with the treatment.”
Crowns and onlays are custom created in a dental lab from porcelein material. They primarily restore both function and aesthetics simultaneously. So you can bite and smile with confidence once again.
