Veneers

Sometimes, a combination of teeth and lifestyle must be considered during treatment. Dr Shakarchy has undergone extensive cosmetic and restorative aesthetic dentistry training with the renowned Dr Chris Orr. As a result, she prides herself on providing veneers, a thin layer of porcelain material, which hides any imperfections and misalignment, whilst maintaining a naturally beautiful appearance. This is a great option if the surface of the front teeth are greatly mottled, heavily intrinsically discoloured or reshaping of the teeth is desired. Total treatment time is across two sessions typically.

“I walked in with awful teeth and came out a few appointments later with a Hollywood smile!”

An alternative to porcelain veneers, involves the use of composite material. Whilst porcelain veneers are more expensive, due to material quality and long-term aesthetic results, composite veneers require no tooth tissue removal. Composite veneers are less expensive, and last approximately 5-7 years. Whilst porcelain veneers can last up to 15 years.
